Sorry, I can't get over how dumb this is. Like how could it ever be cost-effective to ship materials to the fucking moon for factories that would produce goods that can only be sold back on earth. Jesus.
I wonder if feeling like a failure in trading stocks would affect these men's answers in questions like could you fight a bear or get a point against Serena Williams. Like, they are learning that they can't just step in a be a successful day trader, will this lead to humility? Or resentment?

The other thing about moving to Toronto from the US is people say "Oh, how are you handling the winters?" a lot, and I have to go "Uh, they're fairly pleasant in comparison..."

Others have said it, but remember that joking about sexual harassment is telling everyone you know that you think sexual harassment is a joke. Even when the circumstances are very tempting, you are buying in to rape culture. Is that what you want to do?

Many years back, I got so tired of arguing with the shit local dealer that I took a call from another dealer in the state and worked out the details to instead buy the same car from them while still in the showroom of the shit one. Felt amazing.

You have to walk in knowing exactly what you want, tell them no repeatedly, also turn down their financing, have them scream and cry and act like you’re kicking their puppy, and then threaten to walk out (and potentially actually do it).
