You know what it is, for me? That he's treating it like a litigation exercise. A logic problem. I know this behavior and it's weak and built on the insecurity that he knows he's an abuser; he is just building structures so ppl don't find out.

Babysitting used to be the job of adolescent girls who would work for cheap. Nowadays they are all busy with school/extracurriculars, and have parents who don't want their girls in vulnerable positions. And parents of babies don't want to entrust their care to teenagers w/little experience.

It’s that and the fact that women already do the bulk of mental and emotional labor AI seems to provide those types of men with. In other words, it’s not much use to women and they typically see right through it.
