I'm going to live. Partly because as trans people, we need to live. Partly because I really really really need to kiss women. These are both important reasons. HRT: July 21, 2026 31 | Canadian Girlie | She/Her | MDNI
misinformation was obviously going to be the main use case for this technology its so baffling they even released it for a minute

Gee, I wonder what I was going through here? Guess there really weren't amy signs huh, hehe
I stopped at the end of chapter one a few days ago, on account of going to visit my parents for the weekend. That was my first mistake. My second mistake was reading the second chapter like 15 minutes ago and now having to explain to my parents why I'm in tears right now. The story is really good.
"I love the kind of woman who can kick my ass." Me too, Spike. Me too. Watching Cowboy Bebop: The Movie.

It is 2006. I am 22. The US is mired in a costly Forever War. A predictable historic market collapse looms. I do not have health insurance. It is 2026. I am 42. The US is mired in a costly Forever War. A predictable historic market collapse looms. I do not have health insurance.
Another instance of trans people being right and transphobes being wrong.
wow really
Started at 52; I'm now 55. It's never too late to start living.
If you have transitioned later in life, please know how deeply you are needed here. Your story is the exact proof someone else needs to finally take their first step.
"Because, I'm not trans." "Okay." "I'm not! I've thought about it a whole lot, and I'm definitely not." *Why am I shouting?* Lisa grips his hands tighter - how did he never notice how large her hands are? - and asks, "You know that I am, right?" #booksky #trans
AFTERTASTE: A TOXIC YURI
Aftertaste: A Toxic Yuri, by Emoria Weidner, published by Past-Itch Productions.

Aftertaste is about loving yourself, even when parts of yourself are very, very toxic. The book, in summation, occurs on page 25. Read “the book of the year” - @daisygeekytgirl.bsky.social - now in print and ebook. www.pastitch.com/aftertaste-a... #booksky #trans
1. Shit, I don't actually reread very many books. I'm rereading Aftertaste by Emoria Weidner right now, though, so I'm going to take the opportunity to plug it. If I'm rereading it, that must mean I really enjoyed it! Also The Good Lord Bird by James McBride.
When I first started reading Aftertaste, I had to put it down after the second chapter for a while. There was something in there... and I wasn't ready to deal with that. Not yet. The second time, I only made it six chapters in. But this time? I knew what the thing was. And I knew what I had to do.
Aftertaste is a Toxic Yuri. Sort of. It is a Force-Femme Novel. Maybe. It is a LOT. It can hurt. Some people have to stop reading it part way through. but those who have read to the end tend to message me with something like Ashlynn did. It is strange and wonderful to get notes like hers.
I felt pretty caged up and unsure of myself for the first 38 years of my life. Then in year 39, suddenly, being truly and honestly myself helped a lot of other trans people do the same. It's wild. It's a lot to hold. But I'm so god damn happy my book makes people feel better about themselves.

The description of alienation given to Simon makes me sob (complimentary) every time I read it. Support @emoria.bsky.social, buy trans media, and stay living!
@lolzygag.bsky.social messaged me a while ago to say Aftertaste cracked her egg. Last night, she wrote, "This book tricked me. This book made me laugh. This book made me cry. This book made me scream. This book made me love. This book made me feel. This book broke me. This book saved me."
