She's really starting to remind me of Anthony Weiner; a backbench Democrat representative who built an aggressive media personality into a national following and then completely fell apart when exposed to scrutiny, due to being an overweening narcissist without any deeper loyalties.
Man it's so funny when James Carville threatens to leave the Democratic party, like oh no, now the party might have candidates who are actually popular with their constituents and have popular policy positions and win elections what are we going to do noooo don't
I will be voting in the primary and I will be voting for Markey because even if Markey doesn't serve out his full term the years we'll have him, he'll be better than Moulton. The replacement process heavily favors a Dem. It's a calculated risk on my part that I am completely fine with.

almost every level of mass politics is an embarrassment. i can count on maybe one hand (plus maybe a few fingers) the number of genuine left-aligned politicians who are any good (and at this point wu is not among them).

So many great ones in the comments, but my no. 1 of all time is criminally-underrated 80s comedy “Real Genius” Sorkin-esque patter way before his era and so full of wit. You have to watch it multiple times to catch everything.
