What a terrible take to promote. Maybe I like it when things get better for my neighbors. It's good actually to not have to personally benefit from something to consider it worthwhile.

i love this building that just got approved by the toronto government to start development thats an 11 story residential apartment building with retail space on the ground floor, with a buddhist temple on the very top

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

An aircraft passenger oxygen mask: a drop down passenger mask with air bag and yellow plastic mouth and nose cover, oxygen tube has been cut; Demonstration model used by flight attendant crew for passenger instruction. Has text on the side indicating that it's non-functional.

Looking to speak with tabletop designers whose DriveThruRPG products were recently and erroneously tagged as containing AI-generated content. Apologies if this is how you find out it's happened to you lol DMs open; email works too: chase@rascal.news

For those of you who made it to Gencon this year, if you see this, go find the Nerdburger Games booth and say hi from me! It's their 10 year anniversary! I couldn't be there this year, so say hi on my behalf and maybe look into some books! (CAPERS is so fun!!) #gencon #Gencon26

Baba was a laundress, cleaner, and heavy drinker, so that. In my current form (disabled) I couldn't do a job, so I'd likely end up in some horrible institution. Baba had incredibly strong arms from her work and could quickly whip cream by hand at machine speeds and win arm wrestling contests.

Enough “what would you do on the commune questions” If you got sent back 100 years and were given your grandparent’s job, what are you doing?

I'm old enough to remember when polio put my friends into iron lungs. We dutifully lined up at school to get vaccinated. We eradicated the disease. We protected the common good and saved lives. What RFK Jr. is doing to public health in America is a disgrace.

Increasingly, Soylent Green serves as one of the best metaphors for AI -- it's taking all that we are, as people, chumming it up, and feeding the slurry back to us. We're told that we need it, it's nutritious, it'll save the world, even as it damns it and us.

helloooo 👀👀 if you are going to #GenCon this year and running events or selling things or running a booth, please let me know.... *insert mysterious & magical hand gestures here* also looking to connect with professional game designers & GMs :) send me a message!! thank u in advance!!

Not only is this fabulous communication (direct, clear, honest); it is BRAVE. Musk goes after critics and encourages his millions of users to do the same. He will likely post some threatening meme of her being a traitor. But she isn’t cowering from him 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

minnesota state rep jess hanson rides elon musk for filth for trying to defend his pervy app: "when the richest man in the world hangs out with the epstein class... we cannot act surprised when he's trying to protect the number one tool used to make child sexual abuse material"
