That’s always how it is with AI. Either it’s just there and mandatory, or something you have to turn off. They have to force it on us because they know it’s increasingly unpopular yet they’re desperate to keep that bubble inflated.

Friendly reminder to aspiring artists to develop your OWN style. Studying anatomy, detailing, "how to do it" is fine in doses. But the art styles that became iconic from yesteryear look nothing like anything else. Parappa the rapper, Garfield, anything from Matt Groening, powerpuff girls etc
Got blocked by an editor at the economist because I got him to admit that he doesn’t think that the UK should accept asylum seekers from anywhere else but the European continent because of racial reasons and I think that’s both very funny and also explains a lot about the economist.

The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

It's really cool that I detox from social media for around 2 years at this point just because harrasment and wanting to focus on my project. I've been having more time to do stuff instead of loosing myself in scrolling for hours
It's kinda sad in a way cuz I follow a lot of artists and people I like. It's fun interacting, looking at stuff or getting inspiration, but the amount of time it eats sucks. It also was fun when it wasn't that serious.
