RFK Jr said these words today on national television "There were ICUs that were empty all over the country including in New York at the height (of the pandemic)" hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha You are a fucking idiot hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha <sobs silently>

PSA-wear your SPF50 lip sunblock/balm. Went to a dermatologist for the first time in years, at least since pre-pandemic shutdown. Had two pre-cancerous spots on my scalp (aka my bald spot) frozen. Also got a biopsy of a spot on my lower lip. For reference, I’m 56 and work in theater(not much sun).

The book of love is long and boring, No one can lift the damn thing. It’s full of charts and facts and figures and instructions for dancing. But I, I love it when you read to me, And you, you can read me anything. (The Magnetic Fields, but also there’s a few/several really good covers!)

A little miffed. The contractor who did our kitchen tile managed to strip the finish from one of the kitchen cabinets when they removed the tape they used to drape the kitchen. They also draped badly, because dust got all over the entire house, but that’s a whole ‘nother problem.

If anyone has any geniusy clever ways to aid clean up post-tile demo dust, I’m all ears. Or rather, I’m all itchy red-eyed. (We’ve been wearing N95s all week because of the smoke already, so that’s covered.)

Having the kitchen tile replaced, which is its own particulate-generating procedure, and today we also have wildfire smoke and a heat index of 100+. This is bad no matter what, but add in lung disease and just…ugh.
