Growing up is crazy because now that I’m an adult I find it incredibly easy to not treat a child like absolute dogshit and make them feel like they’re a terrible person, even if I was having a bad day.

I grew up believing I was an animal. I still do to this day. I was tortured in British psychiatric institutions between the 70s-80s as I didn’t fit in. After all these years & I’m 62. Every day I wake with memories of isolation wards, drugs, electric shocks, coercion tactics leaving mental scars.
