The biology was always there. Better computational methods made it possible to find. In collaboration with UCSF, Tesorai identified 7,998 protein-verified RNA editing sites—an 18× increase over previous reports. Congrats @dlswaney.bsky.social, @petercim.bsky.social, and colleagues!
MaP-Proteomique
@map-proteomique.bsky.social
MaP offers since 2007 a wide panel of techniques for protein identification and quantification for basic and clinical research but also for industry.
Large-scale proteomics analysis shouldn't take weeks. Working with frankligy.bsky.social and Mark Yarmarkovich, Tesorai processed 2,500 immunopeptidomics files in under 5 hours—a workflow that previously required more than 4 weeks. Publication: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
Proteomics datasets have grown dramatically in size and complexity. Analysis infrastructure needs to evolve alongside the data.
Just one week remains until the abstract submission deadline for #EuPA2026! Don't miss the opportunity to present your research, exchange ideas, and be part of the scientific programme of the Proteomic Forum 2026. 👉 Submit your abstract: proteomic-forum.com #ProteomicForum #Proteomics

Syntenin Controls Extracellular Vesicle-Induced Tumour Migration by Regulating the Expression of Adhesion Proteins on Small Extracellular Vesicles - PubMed
Despite extensive proof for the tumour-supporting function of cancer-derived small extracellular vesicles (sEVs), attributions of pathological effects to specific sEV subpopulations are poorly described. In this study, we aimed to characterise a distinct sEV species under the control of Syntenin, a …
