every time I see this I am reminded that the one (1) thing stopping all of these policies is that most political parties don’t actually want democracy to be fair and equal

It also means parties don't focus all their policies on the old, who vote. Better for the next generation. £100 fine for not voting. (Exemptions for those who truly can't do it).

I dont want to segregate trans women from cis women in professional sports because society made a Women's category in a world with trans women in it, so its theirs too. Dont like it, cis folks? Get Gud or STFU.
It is only 'war by other means' if you choose violence as a baseline for your leisure activity. There is no fairness in competition, hence why they love bleating on about fairness. All whilst excluding trans people esp kids, from co-operative activities.
I hate to sound like a hippie, but my very basic take on trans people in sports is this - Sport is a social activity and is at its finest as a co-operative endeavour. This need to frame everything, from education to leisure, as a competition is toxic.
I’ve seen people locking their bikes to parking posts like this that have no bike ring. It can easily be lifted up and stolen. I warned a guy parking his bike about this recently. He seemed annoyed at me rather than thankful. Would you warn people or just leave them be?
