Q7: Keep it reasonable. Apply appropriate conventions, like capping the initial letter of a proper name, but please don't cap Every Important Thing. That'll get very old for readers, very quickly. The biggest issues I've seen is when the amount of time it takes to get to a place changes. For example, it'd take the character half a day to walk up the mountain but only about thirty minutes to walk down. #StetChat

A5: In social studies instruction, the trick is to limit the info to what students need to understand the concept. Leave out discussions of nuance and all the cool facts you found. Also, grounding abstract concepts in concrete terms, e.g., What does this mean for a person’s daily life? #StetChat

I think this is fundamentally wrong but in an interesting way I will need to write about sometime. The key is a) consumers do not choose what is produced, or how, they choose between what is produced. This is a crucial difference

I got mine at the Javits Center. It was the weirdest combination of "we're all so happy to be getting this" & "people I know have died and the world is on fire." Some people waiting for shots were shaking w/tension & fear. The live classical music in the post-shot area was lovely & helpful.
