Discussing cross-genre stuff a lot lately. I'm an interdisciplinary storyteller: I'm an actress, tour guide, playwright, audiobook narrator & author of fiction & non-fiction. Each craft informs the other. Rarely do I get to discuss how it all weaves together! I do here! #BookSky #WritingCommunity

I’m astonished by the ability of my fellow humans to forget the events we all just lived through. Folks remember the masks and the remote school. The million US dead are rarely mentioned. Folks, we lived through a plague.

So, let me get this right: We get threatened with legal action from our ISP for downloading a copyrighted film or TV show illegally. But AI companies are given free passes to steal copyrighted content from billions of people. Do I have that right?

I remain open minded, but the teaser for Blade Runner 2099 is uninspiring. If you think both films were about a "war" between humans and replicants -- whoosh -- that's the sound of the themes flying over your head.
