Yes why are there even so many conflicting options where to put things My own variant of this is how windows taught us for decades that this button means "quit", only now it means "quit, or sometimes minimize, but _differently_"

my extremely petty gripe with AI is that I am paranoid about using em dashes — one of my favorite punctuations — now that I know how commonly AI uses them in writing, and I can’t use the verb “grok” anymore which was a really fun and useful word before it got absolutely ruined
