Not hiring entry level workers due to AI adoption is definitely a tragedy of the commons as everyone will benefit from having a cohort of experienced Gen Z workers in 15 years yet few want to hire them today. However I doubt AI in 15 years will need the human oversight that LLMs currently require.

So @wsj.com reported that #Tesla might sell its China operations to make it easier to merge the company into #SpaceX. CEO Musk denied it angrily, as is his wont. It would definitely help SpaceX. The shareholders, however? Not so much, at least per this @liamdenning.bsky.social piece. [GIFT LINK]

O’Neal helped purge me & all the other Black full-time staff columnists at the Post Opinion Section. I challenged his move to fire me in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk killing. And he testified against me in June. We are expecting an arbitration ruling soon. Convenient time for him to quit.
