Hot Take: I think leaving Magneto as a Holocaust victim who is a very slowly aging mutant akin to Apocalypse is leagues better than changing his race, religion, and ethnicity or taking him off the table.
He’s mad our country is run by crooks and murderers and so am I. I’m no longer interested in negotiating with these people and neither is he.

I think he's mastering a kind of stern dignity that is uniquely compelling in contrast to the clownish cruelty of the other side. I think the other person who's kind of hit on the same thing is AOC, though in a different register

Why does Korea have a holiday for the alphabet? Because unlike other writing systems that evolved over centuries, Hangul was the work of one dude who solved mass illiteracy by sitting down and creating a brand new fully-formed system from scratch that anyone can learn almost instantly.
