I mean, in the Epstein files they DID admit that. Very explicitly. Along with how anti-trans laws and anti-immigrant laws and stripping of disability protections was to make US more vulnerable to sex trafficking And likewise, nobody did anything to correct that

If you want to yell (... reasonably politely) at the EU to stop being stupid with phrases like "use AI to uphold genuine creation", here's the best chance to do it.

Please share your feedback on how genAI destroys the livelihoods of artists on the official EU website. You can do so even if you're not an EU citizen. We have to be loud so the change will come, and practice shoes that voicing hatred towards genAI works ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet...

Maybe you think you are invulnerable to this (you are not), but the people who stay in Twitter because you are still sharing there are definitely being dragged to the right. I have so many mutuals who are still posting regularly there, and it's so disheartening to see. Please stop.

Evidence is already accruing that spending time on Twitter pulls ppl to the right, bc the algorithm feeds you horrible stuff. And again: academics are likely more vulnerable, bc they convince themselves they are less.

JKR explicitly said she considers anything Potter-related, even fan-made, endorsement of her politics. And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
