As a heads up, a family emergency has happened and we may have basically no income for an undetermined amount of time so I'll be putting up a kofi goal pretty soon to try and mitigate some of the hit Had to get my dad to the er last night (he's fine but he cant work for 15+ days, no pay)

This is inevitably where means testing to try to quell right wing hysteria over alleged fraud takes us. Not every person down on their luck or otherwise in need is going to be wearing a burlap sack or fit whatever other image someone thinks poverty should look like. Just feed people.

A really funny complaint about the Zohran discount grocery store idea is that non-poor people could use it when there’s a grocery store half a mile from my grocery store that has everything cost 20% more that rich people go to because they don’t want to shop with normal people.
