A recent manuscript by @sulianamanley.bsky.social's lab led by @jclandoni.bsky.social describes reversible mitochondrial pearling as a driving force for mtDNA regular distribution within mitochondria. PKmito ORANGE was used in to image mitochondrial pearling by STED microscopy in live cells.
