Man, I look at the sort of stuff people post in right wing spaces like most recently, that movie Citizen Vigilante, and get really worried that there's not really a meaningful way to deescalate with people who've gotten this warped, and I don't think there's a reasonable plan to deal with them

The people that use gen-AI and scream about “gatekeeping” don’t really want to make art. They want to be praised and to make money and want to skip the actual “art” process. They don’t JUST want a product, they want everyone to tell them how gifted and special they are, too, for no work!

Latest yields per USDA are 188.8 bushels/acre, so growing it requires another 12.7 million acres. That’s about half the size of Indiana.

The director of the FBI just reiterated the Trump uber-message: We can kill you. Alex Pretti was not attacking the agents. If he was resisting as he was being assaulted by them, under no law enforcement protocol is that alone cause for a summary execution. This is police-state tactics.
