Not to be cringe but this is basically how I've always wanted to look and I'm very happy

Once again, I come back to the fact these guys have created a situation where one of the UK's leading, cis female athletes is scared to go to the loo alone, and the fact that they are celebrating this as a step forward for women's rights.

I sometimes think about Forum culture and if I miss it, and then I remember the alternate history story Look To The West started in January of 2007 and is still ongoing
sometimes there is absolutely nothing more fun than understanding works of art through people's varied professional perspectives
You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.
I wouldn't boast about this attack on civil rights if I were you. Nor would I stick a giant picture of my face on it. I am, however, judging those who aren't loudly condemning it

Dr Mary Ann Stevenson was appointed EHRC leader over the objections of the W&E Commitee by an ideological bigot for a singular, specific reason, and we're screamed at to pretend like the whole intestinal tract of state which has produced this shit is apolitical and innocent
The EHRC guidance does not apply to workplaces, and trans people are not criminalised for using any toilet in the UK. But the whole point of this - as with Section 28 back in the 1980s - is to intimidate people. Don't give into that fear.
Just a reminder that: - this isn't for workplaces and if your work is trying to implement it scare them over discrimination claims - the onus is on the service provider, not the service user to comply - the code *itself* says enforcement of toilet facilities is unworkable and low priority
"We respect everyone's rights, btw if you don't comply with our order to violate people's rights, will find you"

If you want to start collecting Adepta Sororitas in 11th edition, I'd also recommend you start with 2mg of estradiol valerate under the tongue in the morning, 2mg at night. Now for anti-androgens-
In today’s video we look at getting started with the Adepta Sororitas in Warhammer 40K 11th edition using the combat Patrol boxed set as a starting point. youtu.be/uaHmzxF7cyI?...
The EHRC guidance slipped its way into law by default overnight. Do not self-police and do not let toilet weirdos and changing room weirdos dictate how you go about your life.
EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect today so remember to be an absolute pain in the arse to any service provider who is trying to actively enforce it.
Came home to a letter from the House of Commons. Joked to my Tamar it would be a "hello I'm your MP" type shit, but given my recent communication with my MP re:ehrc and NHS, it might be more substantial My MP, after 2 years, is only now starting surgeries. It is literally "hello I'm your MP"
Soft Rains Day. "Today is August 4, 2026, in the city of Allendale, California. Today is Mr. Featherstone's birthday. Today is the anniversary of Tilita's marriage. Insurance is payable, as are the water, gas, and light bills." RIP Ray Bradbury, 1920-2012
One of the things I find so off-putting about AI generated imagery is just how overgreebled it is, it always adds too much detail, and when it comes to trying to depict food, it ends up looking like it's crawling with insects or triggering trypophobia, it's extremely off-putting.
Hey man, maybe just make the sandwiches and take a pic of them.
Am now back in Scotland after my long weekend; painfully missing my girlfriend rn
This is, imo, absolutely the consequence of politicians, media figures and others being actively unwilling to condemn this behaviour
news.sky.com/story/nhs-st... stereotypically this has been seen as Old People, but not only would the old people of now have often been born post-Windrush, lot of this will be younger people who've always lived in a diverse Britain. The guy with a pregnant wife likely millennial at oldest
Holland and Zendaya doing an Odysseus level press tour for both Odyssey and Spiderman, while presumably their Penelope (Hunter Schafer) awaits their return
Okay going to collect my thoughts and posts about The Odyssey here
My favourite bit of The Odyssey is when Agamemnon tells Odysseus to not put his dick in the toaster and the rest of the movie has people noting that Odysseus isn't a toaster fucker so it's not great advice
Why is the PM posting on a website that manufactures child pornography

There's some force-tf in The Odyssey and that's funny to me
