I think there’s of course a strong argument for people being rehabilitated after offending, but like… a public-facing role in a political party is not the right environment for that

David Whitfield (who else), legend has it, did manage to 'get a shag', as the saying goes, on live TV. Could be one of the many stories about DW's compulsive copulating but one that should be true if only to find out how he managed it.

I grew up listening to Jimmy’s Cricket Team and there were a few sketches I could quite verbatim, not to mention how much I loved him turning up on tv reading his letters from his Mammy. Wonderful, silly, and wholesome stuff.
