Watching tonight’s Emmerdale and seeing Cain say goodbye to Monty… I am inconsolable 😭😭😭😭😭

This. 👇🏻 Also, when Bob was finally diagnosed at 40, he was told by his mother that he was a “good mimic” and had “fooled” the two psychiatrists and two Autism specialists who had spent *8 hours* over two days assessing him. 😳🤬
A late-discovered autistic woman who spent her whole life masking her autistic traits in order to avoid attracting attention has recently been accused of faking her autism diagnosis to obtain said attention.
On a... different note, it’s also the 12th birthday of the Profanity Embroidery Group
So, happy 11th birthday, the Profanity Embroidery Group
Hmm. Good job Joddrell Bank array is still there to see, then, isn’t it? 🤔
Elon has dropped a right Clanger there. *Whistles
If anyone would like to see a short video of a cat having a little puddle on its favourite (mobile) woollen rug, this is your lucky day.
Do try to remember that the EHRC guidance only affects service providers and not employment, so if you work somewhere where there are toilets or changing rooms for employees that aren’t open to the public then your employers are wrong if they try to stop you from using facilities for your gender
Absolutely this! Never used Chat GPT. Never heard of Claude. Not interested!
I've never used ChatGPT. If I'm absolutely honest, although I've heard of Claude, I'm not 100% sure what it is. I've never knowingly used an #AI tool. To me, this post reads like 'If pre-sliced cheese was suddenly banned, would you even know how to slice cheese manually?'
Blimey. On this day 27 years ago, I packed up my life and my two cats, and headed to Devon to live. I’m still here and I’ve never regretted it. 💜🩵
Morning chaps. How did you sleep? 😴 A high of 21° today, so I’m content. Prepping for a big doing day again tomorrow, so trying to take today gently… 😭
This would be rare here - a sign of the depth of the drought. Rabbits normally have no need to drink water - they are surrounded by pastures & hedgerows filled with green grass & juicy vegetation. Now the fields are scorched brown and dry - birds & animals & insects face dehydration. #Droughts
I love this sooooo much #ItMe
Here’s the latest stop motion animation from my Tiny Angry Witch team. (I’m the writer, I can’t take credit for the animating!) It’s one of our longest, and it nearly drove us all mad, but we’re really proud of getting it made! 1 x Tiny Angry Witch 1 x broom No AI
Here, it is drizzling. I am out in the garden experiencing it.
I have bought myself a copy of Roland Orzabel’s new autobiography. I may be some time…
If women wore smart glasses, they'd be banned. (soigomaa/x) Think about it. If millions of women wore smart glasses, recording men's behaviour, conversations, comments, their driving & bar chats ... can you imagine the panic? Trust me, smart glasses would be regulated before you can say 'Meta'.
Morning chaps! How’d you sleep? We FINALLY have some slightly damp stuff falling from the sky! This makes me ridiculously happy! 😃
Noods and me are sitting on the patio listening to the gulls.
Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.
Observe, if you will, the reactions to the man with vile opinions who has died, versus the reactions to the man who was daft and silly and wanted to make people laugh who has also died. Be more Jimmy.
Dasia Taylor, now 22, developed a surgical suture that changes color in response to pH changes associated with wound infections. #Invention #Innovation #MedicalBreakthroughs
Also if you are in or near Kent, they run a working farm attraction that is a really great day out for families. A visit helps support them. My adopted sheep son Lionel is there and they just got some gorgeous alpacas too www.canterburyoasttrust.org.uk/rare-breeds-...

Noods has caught a mouse in the garden and won’t let me near. I fear she’s going to eat it and our old cat was extremely ill with a virus after eating one 😭😭
It’s no good, I’m so crap at staying awake past 9pm. Lol. Nuhnight chaps. Sleep long and deeply 😘😘😘
Who has had a less than satisfactory interaction with a famous/semi famous person? Seeing John Hannah on trailers has reminded me of when we were in a beach cafe near home when he came in with his wife … she wanted us to move tables, and went full “do you know who he is?”
I don't think people quite understand chronic illness, what it's like to "wake up tired" but still have a million things to do. Deciding where to invest your energy as you're operating on 20% of what everyone else has. Even the most basic stuff like washing yourself or making a meal is draining.
