Ford celebrated ripping out bike lanes 2 days ago. Meanwhile, Bike Share is recording it's 5 millionth rider today. This is more rides than were seen in all of 2022, the system has doubled its ridership in 4 years.

If you support Toronto's bike lanes, it's not helpful to write or speak as if their removal is now inevitable. Most of the lanes are still there, keep using them. And we will defend them. Figure out strategies to protect and expand cycling infrastructure that doesn't rely solely on the courts.
