we should all be pissed off at this btw. if not because sex work is legitimate work and should be treated with respect, then because you should be concerned at attempts to gentrify online spaces as pretext to court investors and force out minorities so those spaces can become part of a portfolio.

Which is often used to dismiss it all. Sweeping generalizations are mostly self-congratulatory inaccuracy. Second-wave feminism was complex; it was lots of people starting from scratch trying to rethink everything. Their better conclusions are now integrated, the worse fallen by the wayside.
Part of what feminism did was exhume a massive history of child sexual abuse, including by family members, mostly misremembered as a sex panic full of false accusations. There were false accusations, due mostly t to the fact that cops and therapists didn't know how to debrief children.

they dont even like cis people who arent sufficiently trad enough... if not medically transitioning is making u miserable then that IS what they want but if ur happy with ur body without medical transition then they dont really care& they hate u anyway
also: everything is medical transition. whether uve gotten every gender affirming surgery in existence or ur microdosing HRT. hell, the government's trying to class binders as medical devices (ormaybe they already were idk ive never had to buy one 😭). they call tucking mutilation
i do agree that people, esp people who claim to be trans rights activists and allies, should be cautious in using "you're valid the way you are" messaging at this point in time and focus on us having access to medical and legal transition
