I worked somewhere that had an external DevOps team for a particular repo, and they deleted the repo's lockfile before npm installing on CI because it "had previously caused problems". (Naturally I found out when an updated transitive dep was installed and broke the build)

As a software engineer I really resent the general public calling the "spicy autocorrect shittifier" the phrase "artificial intelligence". It's a specific type - Generative AI. Different from voice assistants, computer and machine vision, video game enemy behavior... AI has been around awhile. 😩
