shout out to all the people older than 32 reading this who have a good memory! May it continue to be great into our 80s, 90s, and 100s. The first 12 years are barely there. I know some of that is Regular Aging but apparently if you have enough medical trauma and anesthetist you just forget decades!
got a new keyboard. THIS ONE HAS THE F12 BUTTON IN THE USUAL DELETE KEY LOCATION! The other keyboard is probably fine but I think it needed to dry out? Electronics do not like water.
Rates are lower now than in 2001 (but on the way up again), but we still have a 9/11-worth of preventable death *every day*. A daily massive tragedy that we choose to let continue. We can't save the lives already lost, but we can choose a world where we don't lose any more.
With the 25th anniversary of 9/11 coming up, I can't help but think how immense a tragedy it was to lose so many people on one day, and how every day since then we have lost an even greater number to TB.
