Sorry but unless you, as a media outlet, have managed to get someone from the Navy (probably a former sailor because those currently serving maybe disbarred from commenting) to explain that this is extremely unlikely to happen for legal reasons, then, arguably, you haven't really done your job.

The funniest - and least discussed - aspect of this is that Farage, having reportedly told RefUK he'd only lead them if compensated for the £1m a year income he had outside politics, pocketed their five million, then kept earning from outside interests at the same rate anyway. He scammed even them.

Important, because Farage's defence for not declaring Harborne's £5m 'gift' has always been very specific: he did not decide to stand until 3rd of June. Turns out this deal was struck mid-May (confirmed by RefUK) and facilitated by Farage's other big donor, convicted felon 'Posh' George Cotrell. 🧐

If you stood on Briggate at 8am on a weekday in 1957, and stood there again in 2026, in which year could you reach more of the city in half an hour? Samuel Bancroft has crunched the numbers. Since the 1950s, Leeds has got bigger - but the city has effectively shrunk.

This will surprise no-one, but three successive attempts at getting Google Gemini to answer a mind-numbingly simple question failed miserably. Maybe we need to throw more investors' money at it, and a few more lakes.

Google Gemini failing to produce a response again, even an incorrect one, to a simple question about the kick-off time of the World Cup final; instead collapsing like Pete Hegseth after Holy Communion.
