They say doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result is insanity. Thus, continuing to vote for centrist Dems that lead our party is insane. Unless you like fascists ruling us. ♥️🇺🇦🇸🇸🇵🇸🇹🇼☮️🏴

No candidate, regardless of party, will ever get my vote if they call me a "biological man" and advocate for laws targeting my community. Its that simple.

This is our reward for being one of the most reliable parts of the base, btw. The second we say “I’m not sure I can support someone who will kill my community even if they’re from this party” it’s like we’re fucking monsters. Genuinely if you’re still caping for the dems why? Look how they are.

The vitriol directed at me and other members of the trans community for having the audacity to declare our votes are not to be taken for granted. By cisgender people who otherwise have called themselves allies. I wish it weren’t so utterly predictable.

Trans people are simultaneously a tiny minority who can be safely ignored and an all-powerful voting bloc that can swing elections. I seem to recall someone saying something about an enemy that is simultaneously strong and weak, but it's probably not important.

It's a tactic they use with a lot of topics that Republicans want them to push that voters aren't prioritizing. It sets Dems to explaining, and then narrowing it down and specifying, wasting time and getting cornered with controversial remarks that take flight. Many Dems finally figured that out.

Like this here is the bare minimum for not actively promoting transphobia. And it’s not doing anything beyond that, but hey, again, unfortunately still much better than how certain other Dems *cough* Talarico *cough* are answering

WATTERS & EL-SAYED. Watters: Do you think men should play women's sports? El-Sayed: I'm running for U.S. Senate. It's insane. I'm out here trying to take on the health care crisis and big pharma, and you're asking me about who gets to play what sports. It's silly. People can't take you seriously.

El-Sayed: You don't want to talk about gas prices. You don't want to talk about groceries....You want to bring up all this culture war

As I was standing by this gas pump filling up my truck with six dollar gas I couldn’t help but think that this was a small price to pay so that every child wanting to play sports in elementary school has to submit to mandatory genital inspections

My jeep with a gas pump in her fuel filler $94.59 at 5.999/gal

I stand by my post here. I’ve watched us go from one or two local dems to 26 national and statewide dems embracing anti-trans views, with some embracing REALLY bad ones. And I’ve watched what happens when you don’t cut that cancer out. One thing though: do present my side fairly please. 1/2

Republicans view this as a team sport; no amount of conceeding policy will win them over. Packers fans aren't going to start cheering for the Bears just because Caleb Williams starts talking about how Wisconsin is nicer than Illinois. It's just going to piss his own fans off!

Never forget that, after 9/11, the US proclaimed it would use the opportunity to take out the governments of 7 sovereign countries: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Somalia, Libya, and Iran. Never forget, 39 million people became refugees because of this plan.

"The whole “Oh no, our models went rogue” thing … When a bridge collapses, you don’t analyze whether the bridge was ethical or sentient or why it decided to collapse. You ask, who is the person who built this bridge to be so flimsy?" www.wired.com/story/one-of...

Imagine if the @seattletimes.com and other news outlets were intellectually honest and published, i don't know, charts like this? Seattle is safer than almost all our peer cities, except the other one governed by a Democratic Socialist. Thanks @mayor.seattle.gov and @mayor.nyc.gov!

Today the @seattletimes.com humiliated itself by amplifying a letter from people who don't know/care crime is massively down, demanding a plan to reduce crime& telling the Mayor how to do it. Then not mentioning our crime rate is low and dropping. And pretending that was news. Agenda much?

Yes, men wearing literal swastikas chose Sept. 11th to come to Manhattan. Because I don't see the swastikas visible in Talia's thread, I'm lifting photojournalist Dominic Gwinn's photo. Credit: Dominic Gwinn. @dominicgwinn.com You must credit him/Talia if you copy images. bsky.app/profile/momu...

Three white men in crisp white shirts and khaki pants who are wearing actual swastika armbands on the left arms. Two of them are wearing aviator sunglasses.

A person in Elmo costume is also present.
