The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."

Here's a reminder to consider making 2025's Spotify wrapped your last. They have ran ICE ads, donated to help Trump be elected, their billionaire CEO raised money for AI weapons and allow AI music in their library (whilst also not supporting real musicians properly). Consider alternatives!

The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

If we had to hear “Baby Shark” everywhere we went for two whole months out of the year we’d throw a fit, right? And rightfully so. So tell me, why do we put up with it when the song is “Frosty the Snowman”?

Castle Rock v. Gonzales is, no joke, my Roman Empire. Once you learn the full details of this horrific case, you will never again be able to see policing as a force for safety or justice. It will permanently alter your understanding of state violence, gender, and race in this country.

The painting is done in acrylic.

- Respected, reliable news sources have reported on US citizens being arrested or detained in Chicago. - We know US citizens who have been arrested or detained in Chicago and suburbs. Kristi Noem is lying - deliberately & egregiously.

Kristi Noem: “There's no American citizens that have been arrested or detained. We focus on those that are here illegally. And anything that you would hear or report that would be different than that is simply not true and false reporting.”

SNAP isn't about "people who don't work." It's about people who don't get paid enough to live. Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps: * Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled * Most working-age adults who receive SNAP are employed—but in jobs that pay poverty wages

Marc Lobliner post on X: "Why the hell are we giving food stamps to 40 million people?

Does anyone work anymore?"
