Heartbreaking. And that manager is going to have to live with that decision every day, which is small consolation for the family but his comments indicate he is fully aware of how his decision got these two employees killed.

Yep. One of the reasons Americans can coo over the services and products in Japan for example is that Japanese consumers basically have higher expectations and are more willing to vote with their wallets.
Max Dubler 🏳️🌈@maxdubler.com · 3d agoI think my most genuinely unpopular take is that a widely held and genuine consumer preference for cheaper, lower-quality goods, not private equity, is driving the decline in quality of consumer goods like clothing and housewares.

I 100% have not changed a single goddamn thing about how I write here in the age of "AI." I write how I write. If the "AI" writes anything like how I write, it's because it stole from me. I'm gonna use any punctuation I like, and if it looks "AI"ish to you, you can go fuck yourself.

There's even an “anti-Grammarly" app that leaves in typos and signs off "sent from my iPhone" to create more authenticity: www.wired.com/story/more-t...
So it inserts "sent from my iPhone" even if it wasn't sent from an iPhone, in order to seem more "authentic"? Do I have this right?
