Marvel did not kill off the Black Panther, the actor Chadwick Boseman died in real life. And Mr. Boseman’s colleagues did not feel comfortable with simply replacing him with another actor. These are real people who knew him in real life. That means more than your action movie desires.

This is downstream from Diamond Comics going bankrupt while holding a couple mil in Paizo books, not returning it, trying to sell it, etc. If you've got opportunities or donations for the affected Paizo workers, it is extremely not their fault they got caught up in this.
