So easily bought! Wes Streeting has taken £370k in private healthcare donations, clearly in return for influence. But he's already on over £170k a year as a cabinet minister. To abandon your principles that fully surely you'd want millions? WELP, guess he didn't have principles to begin with.

@mrbiffo.bsky.social didn’t want to comment on the Patreon post lest it influence results, but the local indie wrestlers used to do this all the time. They can block the table if it gets too weird, and I think the limits are better than ‘single sweetcorn’ days. Not sure what’s changed - exciting!

I can’t stress this enough to foreign friends: don’t come to the US now. Whatever rights we boast of having, those are off the table. Masked goons kidnap and kill people. However bad you think it is from the news, it’s worse and falling fast. You don’t want to sightsee in a falling empire.

I helped grow a website over the course of about six years to the point it was turned into a TV series and sold for a seven-figure sum and never saw a sniff of thanks or acknowledgement from the people who ran it.

Shamefully have to agree. Us neurodivergent hangers on will have to help audition some new candidates. I still like the idea that EVSC as a celebration with no winners like the pandemic, but I do flipping love the stats.

Incredible shit here: the man who provided the template for stomping on the BBC when it displeases malicious actors in politics, complaining that malicious actors in politics are using his template for stomping on the BBC for displeasing them.

Listening to Telegraph journalists bleat about a biased BBC, or Reform MPs enjoying more platforming than any minority party in history, underlines that. This is the work of right wing journalists and owners working hand in glove with right wing forces inside the BBC to undermine it. The Labour government needs to help the BBC stand up for itself and clear out those forces that want the BBC to fail.
