As somebody who grew up during the era in which there was a massive public push to reduce teen pregnancy, it’s absolutely wild to me to see people on Fox News now complaining that not enough teens are getting pregnant.

reminder: the explicit USPS rule (*currently blocked in court*) is that USPS will not deliver *any and all* mail ballots to voters in states that refuse to provide the fed gov with lists (lists that, even if they wanted, states can't do in time at this point) not technicalities — mass non-delivery

I’m not trying to do doomerism here, I’m just looking at this objectively as a science communicator who has watched her industry effectively die. How do you reinvigorate interest in science when you don’t have any science communicators, publications, and public-facing institutions left to do it?
