The Atlantic should be ashamed to have published Jamie Kirchick's "DSA is a 'parasite'" screed. Beyond that, though, no one should credit Kirchick's thoughts on DSA or the Dems. He is a bad-faith operator here, undermining those he has always sought to undermine — because he is a neocon.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

Lindsay Graham was, I think, one of the most contemptible figures in US politics, a titan of respectable bipartisan foreign policy for years who displayed no principles, no insight, and no beliefs beyond a gleeful and vicarious love of violence. An indictment of every institution he served in. RIP.

A lot of this fundamental problem comes from the friction points between "the average working class person is a minority woman working in health care", the pundit class deeply resents their spreadsheet jobs that don't code as manly, and how a lot of WWC voters have serious Hitler particle exposure.

I think there's actually a useful difference we can draw here. Namely: there is incrementalism that comes from pushing wherever possible (and with whatever levels possible) to make progress toward a maximalist demand, versus incrementalism that's positioned as an excuse for setting minor goals

My not-so-hot take is that what Mamdani is doing *IS* incrementalism, and the bar is so deeply in hell that a politician just doing *anything* good consistently is a total anomaly for people. And I think for now that is good and fine, because it is restoring people’s faith that better is possible.
