I'm fascinated by how Anthropic's latest announcement, about AI botnets, is both a "give us more money" pitch and a "decentralized AI is possible" pitch. (If the threat they propose is real, the responsible thing would be to shut down development -- but that would turn off the cash fountain.)

"But nobody has any money these days!" IT'S TRUE, it's hard out here, capitalism wants us all squished flat between heavy objects and unable to fight back, you can still SPREAD THE WORD and let people know a SHIMMER BADGER has lit the beacons!

Hey technical question for CSP users, do any of you guys have a preferred method for managing curved surfaces and lines with the perspective tools? I’d like to make environments like these benches at the pier.

A picture of the curved benches at Pier 57 in NYC.

Artists that use reference are cowards! You know how many legs a horse has? ME NEITHER! Six maybe seven. I dont know. And I’ll never know because i refuse to look.

Yesterday @sinblache.bsky.social pointed out that I'd uttered the most neurodivergent sentence imaginable, namely: "I had to stop reading the cyberpunk sex novel because there were just too many fluids happening, so now I'm reading a collection of ghost stories about trains."

Long shot, but does anyone out there still remember a discontinued Kerastase hair oil called Oleo-Relax Discipline, or something like it? It came in a deep orange bottle and smelled like faint sharp roses and I can't find anywhere that still has it and will sell it to me. Halp?

Okay art friends, looking for a better solution. Currently the key dial is attached via velcro. Which is mostly fine until I bump it loose or have to take it apart to fix the dial connections. Then I have to reattach it with a good deal of force.
