The best thing about Vote Blue No Matter Who is that it unloads a lot of cognitive burden. I wanted Tom Steyer to be in the Governor's race, but he's not so I'm gonna vote for Becerra. I don't follow his campaign at all: I'm voting for him because he's not a Republican.
You actually don't have to do the "well, you know, I disagree with MAHA but they're right that there are real problems with The System" thing. That's a concession you absolutely do not have to make.

if there’s anything I would want to drill into the public consciousness it’s that there are almost always like a dozen ways to approach any given problem and some of them will be more effective than others and we have to stop acting like the questions around it are against fixing the issue

you will save yourself a lot of trouble and grief on any text based social media site by simply remembering that a lot of people can't read.
The dynamic where it is impossible to take credit for quantitative improvements in anything because it's seen as disrespectful or insulting to the exceptions has already made criminal justice reform impossible and it's going to do the same for economic policymaking too.

Man people are going to be so disappointed when Obsidian finally releases a new Fallout game and it has all the same problems as every other up that Microsoft has mismanaged for the past decade.
Not to sound paranoid, but anyone who is still defending Platner at this point looks like an opp. Maybe they're a troll, maybe they work for a foreign government, or maybe they're a Republican, but they're definitely not trustworthy.
challenging to phrase this exactly right because it'd be in bad taste to use this as a gotcha against all his supporters, but the journalists who very explicitly framed Platner as a rejection of stuff like "HR Lady Politics" or (ugh) "smoothgroins" should take a long, hard, look in the mirror today
