I think we have to understand statements like this as explicit backing for criminal activity in support of political aims which Reform approves of, and that such criminal activity will be tolerated, maybe even encouraged, under a Reform government

Cannot wrap my head around how an individual can film themselves blatantly breaking so many laws, from public order offences to actual endangerment of life, with barely any fucking consequence - and that's down to a perception that police, government, commentators are either cowards or in agreement.

Incidentally just received a whiny letter from Wandsworth's Tory council explaining how mean nasty Labour have made them raise taxes against their wishes, and I find the sheer dishonesty of their position on this given their pre-election campaigning to be fairly enraging.

They elided the fact that it would rise a lot whoever won. There’s a close-fought by-election in a marginal ward a week on Thursday.
The illiberal right-winger Lionel Shriver writing about "foreigners" and the UK. Shriver is a foreigner living in Portugal pissing on the UK; before that she was a US foreigner living in the UK. It is never abt them they think as they pour scorn on the rest of us.
