I think there are a lot of AES supporters who dismiss the claims out of hand that the AES campaign used anti-Semitism to attack the Haley Stevens campaign, in part because they don’t really understand what anti-Semitic dog whistles sound like. I want to help clarify that.

To be fair, the CBC vs Sanders fight started in the 1990s when he lied to them about not supporting drug sentencing minimums to get their support and then betrayed them by doing just that. That and his repeated attempts to deny Black families access to federal Healthcare by attacking SCHIP...

Two thoughts on the Michigan Senate results: 1. McMorrow’s name on the ballot was a decisive factor. 2. AES has a lot of work to do to inspire turnout and support in Black communities and he’s probably not going to do that with the same rhetoric that got him this far.

They are garbage. Force Dem voters to falsely think their candidates are far ahead in the polls. That either suppresses votes or convinces other voters to change their mind. If it works Dems are then faced with having to support that candidate. Shades of Platner.

Missouri spending for ballot initiatives and state senate races alone have been over $40 million. That doesn’t include any other statewide or local race. Michigan primary spending is near $200 million dollars but that includes U.S. Senate and gov races. Fixating on AIPAC is gross.
