Thomas Duffy was in the building the whole time, had conversations with Gagne outside the courtroom, walked into the courtroom with the called witnesses and stared down the jurors with them (Gagne pretended to not know who he was) and now this, in the guardian... Yet judge barred him from the stand!
100%. Rosane Ferreira-De Oliveira came into the United States as an asylum seeker. Won her asylum case and was NOT the subject of DHS's abduction. They used her daughters and the infant to lure her, violentely and unlawfully detain her and spread lies about her.

In fact, that characterization was based on lies DHS inserted into their own public statement, released days before WPD addressed the issue.

On one side we have a dedicated community organizer with six months probation and on the other side we have a police dept spending two days showing us they collaborated with ICE, will do so in the future, don’t follow their own use of force policies, don’t know what de-escalation means don’t care
As @billshaner.bsky.social writes, this city punishes you for caring, and few people have been punished more than @etelhaxhiaj.bsky.social . Make no mistake, it's to send a message to the rest of us that make their callousness clear with our caring. I, for one, am not going to stop.

The jury delivering a verdict of guilty on the absurd charge of assault and battery leveled against @etelhaxhiaj.bsky.social for her bravery in facing down ICE goons trying to rip a family apart should be shamed for the rest of their lives for their complicity in this tyrannical bullshit.
