Newark's violent crime fell 19% in 2025—with homicides at a historic low. Mayor @rasjbaraka says the reason wasn't more policing. It was investment: "quality schools, opportunity, housing, cleanliness, and recreation for young folks."

The argument that Dems have to play it safe to win becomes significantly less compelling every time the safe candidate *still loses*. Maybe they don't know what's safe. In the MA Senate debate, both candidates were asked about whether they believe Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza. Ed Markey said quickly and clearly "Yes." Seth Moulton never actually answered the clear yes/no question.

Told from the sharks' point of view. And the killing machine is human.

Bluesky is literally what Twitter was like before 2016 when the algorithm started prioritizing the most bad faith right wing actors to force engagement. The idea that "debating" these people is obligatory or beneficial to social media is just wrong.
