Traffic is the biggest reminder. Never seen so much speeding and running lights/stop signs in my life. Not only a calculated risk on empty roads, fast & furious mid-day in heavy traffic and busy intersections. Also the industrial accidents like all these flight collisions or near misses?

the way people cling to 'just a cold' while dealing with brain fog, heart issues, and sensory overload is a special kind of denial. 'feeling good' is a hell of a drug.

and then y'all get the AUDACITY to get on social media "exposing" KIDS for not knowing things! you don't even CONSIDER that covid had affects on all this ON SEVERAL FRONTS! •parents/loved ones health decline (or DEATH) •THEIR OWN/close friends* health decline •their TEACHERS health/resignations!!!

covid THE ILLNESS NOT VIRTUAL SHIT! caused mental health issues, cognitive decline, sensory issues, and long covid symptoms ON TOP OF the trauma and everybody's desire to "feel good" overrid all common fucking sense.

this is extremely infuriating because prior to the administration hiding and suppressing info the studies were finding, it was found that covid was causing some people terrible mental health problems. people desires for instant gratification & being in denial to RUSH a fake "back to normal"

When I explained to the Dr that my kid's personality changed in a matter of WEEKS, and she had ZERO symptoms - they flat out called me a liar We were testing weekly and caught it so otherwise, I too would've blamed it on preteen shit, but she was 9 breh.

And the discipline mechanic of the Dems, in fact the only one they actually utilize, is the money cannon. In fact that's part of why they're afraid of DSA. DSA delivers volunteers and votes, not money, short circuiting the only disciplinary mechanic the party has used for almost half a century.

tbh I think that's a hot take. It's one thing to be lapped and outspent by 2:1 and still get 50/50. But 9:1? In a primary? It means either way the ability of the money cannon to guarentee primary elections is going to be much much more expensive going forward.
