Packy's just zis guy, you know?

For a long time I've wanted a sense of how trump has or hasn't interacted with chatbots (we know he posts a lot of slop sure). And this TIME anecdote about Grok arguably leading Trump into war is just extremely bracing

Since returning to office, Trump has marveled at AI’s capabilities. He is increasingly in thrall to the tech executives courting him. In December 2025, Elon Musk returned to the Oval Office for a clandestine meeting. Trump spent hours asking Grok, Musk’s AI chatbot, questions about his presidency and legacy, according to an official present. At the time, Trump was ordering missile strikes against Venezuelan boats he alleged were smuggling drugs into the U.S. He asked Grok how Venezuelans would react if the U.S. captured Maduro. According to the official present, the chatbot responded that Maduro was a repressive and deeply unpopular dictator and that many Venezuelans would likely celebrate his downfall. After Trump ordered the mission to seize Maduro, the following month, celebrations broke out in the streets. Trump, according to officials, came away thinking Grok was ingenious.

Todd Blanche’s motion for summary judgement in my Epstein redaction training video lawsuit is due tomorrow after a short delay. Multiple sources told me there were videos training FBI agents on how to redact Trump from the Epstein files. I’m suing to get them.

Two essential people to read and follow, who speak from both professional expertise, and having worked in the belly of the beast.

New from @timnitgebru.blacksky.app and me: "It is high time for us to regulate usage of systems sold as “AI”, not because they are magical machines, but because they are error-prone products that shouldn’t be used in high stakes scenarios." www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

This administration is so incompetent they're incapable of "legally" killing someone on death row but perfectly capable of executing innocent civilians in the street. Also, abolish the death penalty.

That candidate does not exist. We could nominate AOC, and the same people who spent the Biden administration screaming that he was trying to murder us all and then 2024 calling Harris a genocidal transphobe will say the same sorts of things about her.

so idk where we really go with that, i'd like to see a candidate in 2028 who we can defend with our full chests, not (however correctly) as a lesser evil Ideally, someone like aoc who has credibility as having always, loudly been outspoken on this

Plus, there is a significant risk of sexual assault or harassment *by* police during the reporting process. I always think about Lauren McCluskey's story of calling the police over 30 times before she was murdered. They didn't help her, but they did do this:

University of Utah police officer showed off explicit photos of Lauren McCluskey to his co-worker

<b>UPDATE</b><i>: Logan police announced </i><a href="https://www.sltrib.com/news/education/2020/05/17/logan-police-will" target=_blank><i>an internal affairs investigation into Officer Miguel Deras</...

me to my brain: it is truly horrifying that the most powerful man alive is being led by the nose by the fucking pedo robot, please think of a joke so I can ignore the implications of this my brain: lol I bet he has his own Grok named Stan Cherabot bsky.app/profile/cwar...

I mean yeah, a decade of no one holding Trump accountable for his much more obvious crimes, combined with both Nazi and Confederate rehabilitation projects on the right, was always going to lead to “actually we’ve never done ANYTHING wrong and you guys owe us apologies for every check on our power”

The DOJ is reviewing "whether the special prosecutor’s office that investigated the famed Watergate break-in committed misconduct, according to people familiar with the matter, more than half a century after that scandal led to Nixon’s resignation."

look, if the pentagon wants IT security then they have to do what the rest of us do: hire trans furries who go to renfest don't ask me why, idk, i just know that data is insecure until sanctified by the holy aura of someone who checks at least one of those boxes. it's part of god's plan.

The Pentagon is notifying millions of current and former U.S. military servicemembers and staff that hackers stole their *unencrypted* personal information during a months-long data breach. The agency that had the breach also handles ID and login/credential access to U.S. military systems and bases.

Someone said to me that there are frats everywhere, so why do I seem to have more ire for spaces like Cornell? Money & power. About 1/10 Cornell students have families in the top 1% of income. The institutions are by them, for them. This takes every other dynamic and amplifies it times over.

Fraternity men perpetrate sexual violence at a rate three times higher than other college men. The fraternity lobby is one of the most powerful in DC—and they consistently oppose any bill for survivors’ rights.
