I don't even know what to say. This is real, this is true, so, like, thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. This took over 25 years to happen so if there's any lesson here it's either "keep at it, who knows" or "many people are divorced"

One day, I'll go back and revise this properly. It deserves to be shared with the world in the form I originally intended. But honestly, 1) Who has that kind of time? 2) Why would I publish any written documents when The Plagiarism Machine is out there to steal my work?

13 sheets of printer paper, arranged in a pattern vaguely resembling a circle if you tried to make it out of rectangles, pinned to a board. This is my 🤢"chapbook"🤮 final project for my junior year of college poetry class, comprised of 12 poems. (I use the term "cycle" for the piece.) The title, the only visible text because it's in extra large font, is hOURS.

While I did make a chapbook for one of my classes, and while it is maybe the art project I feel I am most proud of even accounting for an entire novel I have written, I am still perpetually mad at the very term "chapbook." It sucks so bad.

There’s a reason we all fucking love watching sports together. It’s a fucking respite from yelling at each other about the horrors. Why not encourage more of that? We can still keep yelling at each other about the horrors. We can also have more variety in the respites.

Is everyone aware of the General Motors streetcar conspiracy? In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.
