“Liberals will always choose fascism over socialism” is one of this website’s conventional ways of saying “I am stupid and I prefer reading the opinions of other stupid people”. It is good when stupid people self-identify, so we should not complain when they do so

The documents that Trump released and endorsed clearly validate and detail a massive Russian intelligence service operation to elect Donald Trump of which he and his entourage were aware and in which they knowingly participated. Russiagate is real, we learn.

If you don't care if they're a secret Nazis as long as they had the right positions, then you should admit you're OK if they're rapists or pedophiles too. Morally bankrupt. This should be a moment where one steps back and reassessment one's values.

Oh, they're just going to double down and not learn shit from this. Emma, today: "I don't really care if, say, like Bernie Sanders or AOC go home and they're a secret Nazi, but they go out and they vote for the right things." Either incredibly stupid and/or a terrible person.

Graham Platner refusing to apologize for having a Nazi Totenkopf tattoo on his chest for 18 years because he "didn't know" its significance while SIMULTANEOUSLY admitting that he knew damned well at the time that Nazis used it as their insignia.

Lyndsey Fifield with more details on what keeps looking more like it was the NYT doing a halfassed attempt of a catch-and-kill on his behalf with how that previous Graham article was written.

The same people who say both parties are the same are complaining that Platner isn't being given a pass by Democratic officials and voters like Republicans would.

That’s why Platner is basically their Waterloo. Tune Inn conspiracies aside, audience capture meant they needed to loudly support the “fuck Chuck Schumer and the establishment” crew, and the poster child of that was Platner. But it all goes back to them wanting in on the group chats. It’s tragedy.

They had on all the candidates (expect Biden, funny enough). They openly supported Bernie (and Warren), but did so from the traditional Democrat side, arguing his supporters’ enthusiasm would be needed in November. Biden won, and they clearly were a bit annoyed because he’d stiffed the show.

The thing about Pod Save is that from 2016-2020, their core audience was Resist Lib Wine Mom Establishment Dems. And the entire time, they looked longingly at the dirtbag leftist media sphere, which they were banned from for the aforementioned core audience. In 2020, they tried to bridge the gap.

you have been credibly accused of rape, you repulsive piece of shit. you don't get to make sure the next candidate is sufficiently rape positive before you get out of the way.

it really speaks volumes about how FUCKING STUPID so much of the political class is that **Chuck Schumer** managed to determine that "no the guy with a nazi tattoo doesn't have the character to be a us senator" and huge swaths of the beltway was like 'akshually'

Warren comes out looking the worst in this I think. Sanders and the pod save guys having terrible judgement with people is a known quantity

let this be a lesson to deal with your feelings of gender anxiety and masculine inadequacy with a hobby or therapy or something and not a high stakes senate election
