Like many people who have worked in politics for decades, I am baffled and upset to see candidates who say they are going to try to make things better defeating candidates who say they are trying to make it more or less like it was in the years before things tipped over into Oaf-Style Fascism.
Two cats, their whole beings focused, waiting for a toy to move. One toy on a string, completely entangled in the paws and claws of the first of these cats. One human, who has never seen frozen, singing "let it go, let it go, something something, let it go" wildly off key.
This is like me starting a fight and redefining victory as “getting my shoes back.”
