I don't think BBC News and Current Affairs are biased towards Reform. I just think they are so underfunded, badly managed and terrified that they have forgotten how to do their jobs.

Adios, Dolly Parton, who endured decades of sexism and shitty jokes from shitty men only to outlive them all with wit, kickass music, and a heart as big as the Smokies. Generations of kids are smarter and kinder because of her giving a damn about them. The rare icon who deserved all her glory.

I keep thinking about all white male liars in positions of power right now, who everyone knows are liars, are lying in a way that materially damages other people and whom everyone is pretending aren’t liars. The contrast.

As an aside, those politicians who created the current crisis - increasing prison sentences for tabloid applause while cutting prisons and courts to the bone - may want to quietly reflect on their culpability, instead of running for the megaphone in an unedifying fumble for clicks.

Burnham: Social Care is a huge challenge that demands a proper longterm solution. It can be done if parties work together. Most parties: PM is right and we'll work with him for a solution. Tories: PM is right and we'll work with him for a solution. BUT ONLY IF HE CAN DO IT FOR FREE. Grow TF up.

Under a Binface government, anyone who doesn’t accept human-made climate change as fact will be sent back to school, from Year 1 right the way to A Levels, to see if anything goes in the second time round. #VoteBinface

Shakira is 50! My sons are getting me back by roasting me for being 6 years younger than her. I deserve it for everyday saying "you are the same age as Jude Bellingham, why haven't you bought me a house"
