Seems like a good time to point out that nobody is entitled to an audience, no matter whether or not they think they are. Nothing can be gained from submitting yourself to the same bad faith arguments you can find on every other social media platform. And that's all I have to say about that.

The kind of rainy day in the 70s or 80s with only black & white films on TV, nothing to do on a hot Saturday, or empty time after a school day boredom. There was self discovery, reading, experimentation, play - and joy - in that boredom.

there is literally no amount of caveats or careful wording that will protect you from stupidity or bad faith, so you might as well say things straightforwardly and strongly to begin with.
This gives me the opportunity to point out that "HOLLYWOOD VICE SQUAD" (1985, Penelope Spheeris), a/k/a the fictional movie in Postcards From The Edge and Carrie Fisher's first gig after exiting rehab, is on YouTube. It's not a great film, but she's really good in it.
