This is the Groove-billed Ani (Crotophaga sulcirostris), and it's just straight up a dinosaur. Like, I know *all* birds are technically avian dinosaurs, but my first thought looking at this guy is: dinosaur. (📷: Suzie McCann, eBird)

A coal-black bird with a bill that covers the whole front of the face. A long grackle-like boat tail, muscular legs and an alert black eye. The bird sits on red sand next to water, as if a mud puddle or stream. CREDIT: Suzie McCann, eBird, 01 Jun 2019, Santa Clara Ranch, Starr, Texas, United States

This is Bella and Hank. They have a commensal relationship in which Bella benefits and Hank neither benefits nor is harmed. 13/10 for both

a small, tan, scruffy dog is perched on the back of a senior golden retriever. Bella the little pup, has her paws placed on Hank the golden's forehead, pushing his skin down so his eyes are closed. Bella's tongue is out and her eyes are wide. seems like she's preparing for a treat, and Hank is used to the arrangement.

Random Fact In the Spider-verse films, Spider-characters are animated at twice the frame rate of everything else, giving them an ineffable grace that observers subconsciously pick up on. Miles starts at the low frame rate and accelerates into the Spider frame rate over the course of the film.
