I don’t want to call anyone out specifically, but a prominent trans journalist I respect a lot has DMed me to say I should delete this and “clearly have issues with trans people” for saying it. Folks that is a very serious accusation and I wish it was made with more care on this site.

Erin has become like the journalists who got mad that Biden was boring and tried to get Trump elected. If things improve for trans people she can't catastrophize.

Nah, I can’t be convinced this was death by suicide. Black people do not lynch themselves from trees, and the fact that these cases have been dismissed so quickly without thorough investigation is telling.

If they were white, this would be national news 24/7. There would be demands being made to 'do something.' But since they're Black, there's NO press or national outcry. For those who don't get it: Black folks DO NOT hang ourselves from trees. Don't say you GAF about Black folks, and ignore this.
