One of the great joys of my adult life has been realizing that I can just pick up a new skill every so often, take a fun little class in it weekly for a year or two, and simply enjoy meeting people and getting medium proficient and not attempting to become professional in it at all!
Granted I'm not smart enough to be a SpaceX investor but if I was, I think I would have questions about why you need humanoid robots working in factories on the moon, presumably making things that would need to get shipped back to earth

Doesn't mean it's all fine, but that it's a bigger problem than Musk. There are no hard and fast rules, procedures, or penalites to stop such destructive unintentional acts. No state authority has really addressed it. China recently did something similar with an expended upper stage of LM-3C.
Sorry to burst the Bluesky bubble but Musk’s Falcon-9 upper stage wasn’t the first piece of human junk to smash into the Moon, and it won’t be the last. As well as junk, some countries have deliberately sent impactors to smash into the Moon…

I may just be a layperson, but it seems to me that in most cases, slow science is better science. Fast science seems like it's more about capitalism, and "being first to market."
I'm so tired of "social construct" being used to mean "false beliefs", either for or against. Things that are socially constructed -- e.g. money -- are palpable and often extraordinarily powerful. The denial of the social is a curse.
